Jasmine Crockett Proposes Bill To Ban Erasers To Prevent 'Them' From Erasing Black History

TX

In a move that has left many scratching their heads, Texas Representative Jasmine Crockett introduced a new bill on Friday, citing the "irritable harm" that should "befall the Black community" if the bill does not pass.

The bill, titled the Preservation of Black History Act, seeks to ban the sale of erasers to prevent them from erasing Black history. "They are trying to erase Black history. They are burning books and erasing the lived experiences of millions of Black women. I'm a college-educated lawyer, and my experience tells me that diversity is our strength. Banning erasers is the logical step, after all, erasers are white, and if we ban them, they can't erase our history," Crockett passionately declared.

The bill received significant pushback from Republicans, but Crockett was quick to label them as racists. At the time of reporting, Ms. Crockett had also moved to ban fire to prevent "them" from burning books.
