Thousands of accounts proudly declared that they were switching to Mastadon, Bluesky, WordPress etc, and were leaving Twitter. However, the siren song of Twitter over came their morals.
When questioned on why they returned they said it was not Twitter and was renamed X. Thus they fulfilled their commitment. At reporting time, they left when they saw that The Babylon Bee was still unbanned.
