North Pole:
After criticism for giving bad kids blocks of coal, due to its environmental impact, Santa has announced that he will be giving wind turbines and solar panels to the bad kids.
In a statement made to CC, Santa said, "Here at the North Pole, we like to be on the cutting edge of green technology. Since 300 AD we have been using 100% emission-free reindeer power air flight. No longer will we give dirty coal to bad kids now we give solar panels and wind turbines."
The announcement was given a mixed response with advocates saying it would teach kids to use their bad attributes for 'environmental justice' while critics said that wind turbines and solar panels could not fit in a stocking AND are very expensive thus negating the punishment attribute of the gift.
At reporting time PETA congratulated Santa for going green but condemned him for exploiting reindeer.
